About Compass Point Systems
Compass Point Systems is located in Alexandria, Louisiana, USA. Past projects have included tree inventories for urban forests, post harvest tree inventories for ordinance compliance, extraction of 450,000 acres of forest canopy and classification of canopy by size class, databases and reports for TCruise software, Red Cockaded Woodpecker and Indiana bats surveys and clipping county mosaics for the state of Michigan into Township size photos for field use.
Compass Point Systems was founded in 2004 by Kerry Livengood. Kerry has 25 years experience in teaching, field work, international work and industry. He is a member of the Society of American Foresters and a Certified Forester #3148. His educational backgroud includes a B.S. and M.S. in forest management and a PhD. in resource economics.
